Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-10-15

Good afternoon, everyone, NBA E/R to Cabo Tosco, searching for bait balls. NW wind 15-18 kts and 2-4 ft seas. We left Cabo yesterday around 1930. Once guests were on board,I did a safety briefing and all guests conducted a life jacket drill. At the end only 15 guests boarded the boat because one of them had to go to Hospital.

This morning we spotted a very large school of dolphins and sea lions. We lowered our skiffs and put the guests in the water. They stayed there for about 2 hours, they had the chance to swim with them for long time. Also they had the opportunity to see many mahi mahi, some of them were very big and we all saw many marlins jumping out of the water. Hopefully tomorrow we have same luck. Water temperature during this activity was 30 Celsius and viz 20 meters.

Plan is to continue searching for animals, plan for tomorrow is already arranged with Gabino, we will try to do a scuba dive today if possible.
