Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-10-20

NEX currently heading in towards Mag Bay and Puerto San Carlos with an eta of 1700 to disembark guests. Wind still light here but some big swell starting to roll up, overcast skies.

Had a great day offshore with the bait balls today to finish the trip, although it’s one day early. Guests are happy. Some big static bait balls today with thousands of dorados, sealions and another whale coming through feeding on the sardines. Pretty epic day to wrap it up.

Water temp has been around 26C, viz offshore 80-100ft. Today we got guests back onboard about one hour earlier than normal to get back to port in time.
