Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-10-24

NUS Sailing at 26°00.3N-111°02.1W from Isla del Carmen to Isla Coronados with sky partly cloudy and westerly winds of 12 knots, and waves of 3 ft, current will link to the south. Visibility after the Hurricane of around 20ft and the water temperature was 86°F.

Reef fish were seen on two dives this morning and we are changing islands to try to find better diving conditions. Check with all guests to see if they have flexibility in their flights to extend the trip to Oct 29/30. Until today only 2 people have flexible flights so they will check and tell us if they can do it.

We have more dives in the afternoon on Coronados Island hoping to find better visibility.
