Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-11-12

NUS Anchored at 18°46.2N-110°54.4W in 90ft depth, Cape Pearce, Socorro Island, this rainy morning with Northerly wind of 5 knots and 3ft waves from the NE, air temperature 80°F.

Two dives this morning with visibility of 60ft, water temperature 84°F and light current to the East. The divers saw manta rays that interacted with them on both dives and many reef fish. We have one more dive in the afternoon and then we will go with the Navy Inspection.

The plan for tomorrow is the Boiler on San Benedicto Island. Sharing the dive site with the NBA.
