Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-11-20

19.19.372N – 110.48.392W, anchored in 45ft of water, today we are diving THE BOILER. Boat tucked in the bay, in front of Boiler (in the safe side south of the pinnacles).

The weather is okay, we had some confused seas this morning along with a long period swell of 6ft NW. making the boat to rock and roll too much and the little waves had the skiffs going up and down too much. So, I decided to move the boat here, is a lot better inside this cove, wind is doing 8kts NW, air temperature is 84f, the water today is 82f and some say they found a cold-water pocket in the dive.

Guests are amazed by the manta interaction they had 4 different mantas at the same time, the schooling jacks were there, a big Galapagos came by, visibility averages 50ft, no current. Good diving conditions.
Clear skies with some clouds. Yesterday in the third dive some of the guests saw a tiger shark and a hammerhead shark coming in bigger numbers to the cleaning station.
