Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-11-20

Good afternoon, everyone, NEX heaving up anchor, departing from Punta Tosca, we are moving the boat to the navy base for inspection. Northerly wind 10 kts, 2-3 ft swell in the bay and 4-6 ft outside the finger, water temperature 28 Celsius, viz was around 20-25 meters.

We did 3 great dives today here, during dive 1 our guests did see dolphins and they stayed with them almost for the entire dive, mantas, lobsters, and a few white tips. Dive numbers 2 and 3 were awesome, mantas, tiger sharks, hammerheads, and lots of reef fish. Besides the interaction with the animals, guests enjoyed the topography of the site. As mentioned, we are on our way to the Navy base, once we finish there, will return here and have dinner on the hook and later we will make our way to Roca Partida.
