Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-11-21

18.46.760N – 111.02.844W anchored in PUNTA TOSCA, is a beautiful day, clear skies, wind doing 12kts NW gusting to 22kt. Air temperature is 82f, water today is 84f, visibility averages 70ft, no current easy div.

Some of the things they have seen today are dolphins, mantas a handful of hammerhead sharks, and a huge tiger shark. Don’t get me wrong there is a big deal of fish down there but those were the highlights of the morning dives.

The dolphin interaction was pretty amazing a whole group of divers came up cheering and happy about a single dolphin who kept coming to the diver and going back down to the sandy area to scratch his belly up against the sand. Very long period of 6 feet swell from the SE. One more dive here than the navy inspection.
