Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-11-27

Hello everyone, NEX anchored in San Benedicto, diving the Canyon.

Awesome dives today, great dives, during dives 1 and 2, our divers have seen a lot of animals, tiger sharks, hammerheads, Galapagos, Silkies, white tips, silver tips, and lots of action down there. Also, they saw cotton mouth jacks, trumpet fish, lobsters, and other kind of fish.

All of them are enjoying this day, in this moment dive 3 is going on and I’m sure it will be as good as the others. We will have one more dive here and after dinner, we will move the boat to Roca Partida.

Weather conditions are okay, cloudy sky, Northerly wind 12-15 kts and a 3 ft wrapping swell, water temperature is 28 Celsius, and viz during dives was 15-20 meters.
