Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-11-28

Good afternoon everyone, apologies for the late report, NEX is anchored in Roca Partida, 240 ft depth, 4.5 shots paid out, windy and choppy seas day, the wind was from NW, 12-15 kts, gusting to 20-22 kts.

It was difficult to get guests on/off the skiff the first 3 dives but we did it in a safe and controlled manner. The diving day is finished, The first 3 dives of the day were good. Our guests saw a few dolphins, mantas in the distance, some silver tips and white tips, and the usual reef fish of the diving site.

Dive conditions were ok, water temperature was 28 Celsius and viz around 15 meters. We will heave up anchor and head to Socorro, we will dive Punta Tosca and will conduct a Navy inspection tomorrow.
