Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Under Sea โ€“ 2023-12-11

Good afternoon, NUS anchored in El Fondeadero, San Benedicto Island, northerly wind 2-5 kts, NW swell 1ft, 65 ft depth, 2 shots paid out.

We arrived here this morning around 2:30 am, today is our first dive day and so far, we have done 2 dives and dive number 3 is going to be in a few minutes.

The first dive in the morning (check dive) was very good close to El Fondeadero. We got hammerheads, tiger sharks, turtles, 8 mantas!!! The guests were so happy that the check dive was so great.

The second dive was good too, not so many mantas, just 3 (1 black, 2 chevrons), but they saw the hammerhead and the tiger shark(s) TOO. We are not sure if it is one or two tigers, also one of the guests said he saw a Galapagos.

We have experienced currently this morning coming from north to south. Visibility 60 ft. temp. 80 Fahrenheit.

The next dive (3rd) will be at the Canyon (Manta Rock). All is so far so good; we have very good weather and after dinner, we will be moving to Roca Partida.

Greetings to everybody.
