Captain Beto and our team learned a lot about operating our beautiful Nautilus Explorer down south and we are heading back in August and September for more adventures with 9 and 10-night trips out to Cocos, complete with brand new RHiBs (rigid hull inflatables). We will be basing our operations close by Caño Island diving and Piedras Blancas National Park, in the heart of the rainforest well known for jaguars and other elusive cats as well as monkeys, sloths, capuchin, anteaters, toucans, flocks of scarlet macaw parrots, and even poison dart frogs. There has been huge interest and demand for our these trips. One super cool thing that we have discovered is that the bait ball season extends into January, allowing us to schedule trips through Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Imagine being in the water with giant swirling schools of Pacific sardine in the cobalt blue waters off Magdalena Bay. You’ll be surrounded by everything from giant bryde whales right in front of you, gulping their way through thousands of sardine, to striped marlin flashing by at 50 km/h, to California sea lions, sharks, dolphins, wahoo, pelagic seabirds, and much more. These adventures combine Cabo departures, with your luxury liveaboard always being close to the action and the expertise of local panga captains (ex-fishermen who know the area like the back of their hands).

Our new program includes self-drive Tacoma TRD Pros, fully guided and a mobile base camp for showers, cold drinks, appetizers, and fine dining every night.
