Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2023-12-16

Good afternoon, everyone, NEX anchored in San Benedicto diving the Canyon, 10 kts Northerly wind and 2 ft seas, water temperature is 26 Celsius and 25 meters viz.

Today we have done 3 epic dives, the Canyon is full of life, mantas, hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, tiger sharks, white tip sharks, dolphins, lobsters, and more than 30 different species of fish. All this marine life has been present during the 3 dives of the day; our guests are very happy.

At our arrival I did notice that current was strong, however, we explained to divers that topography will be used as shelter and it has been working. I have no words to explain the happiness of our guests. The plan is to do the 4th dive here and at 2300 start to make way back to Cabo.
