Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-12-21

19.17.771N – 110.48.570N anchor in 55ft of water, cloudy darkish day, light NE winds, 1 foot chops NE, water temperature and air are the same 82f.

We did our check dive from the dive platform, couple of the guests needed more weight.

Both dives were good. In first dive they saw mantas and they made it to a place where they saw mantas and loads of sharks.

Second dive they saw mantas. They say mantas kept coming to the divers to play, the cleaning station at the canyon was full of silver tips, Galapagos and some silkies. The white tip reef sharks are around but after couple of dives people do not mention them anymore. Visibility today is beautiful, guides are telling me they can see 100 plus ft. The cherry on top of this cake was the huge school of hammerhead sharks two groups were able to see.
