Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2023-12-29

Good afternoon, everyone, NUS is anchored in RP, 240 ft depth, 5 shots paid out, Northerly wind 10-12 kts, and 4-6 ft seas occasionally 8 ft but with a very long period. Guests don’t have problems getting on and of the skiffs, there is some surge but our divers had been doing good.

We arrived this morning and dive number 1 was great, our divers did see lots of sharks, lobsters a pod of dolphins, the usual reef fish, and a juvenile whale shark. Dives 2 and 3 have been ok but not excellent, some scattered tuna fish, a few sharks, and 1 dolphin. We have 1 more dive here and then we will move to Socorro and dive Tosca tomorrow.Dive conditions: viz 15-18 meters water temperature 26 Celsius.
