Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2023-12-31

This morning the Belle was diving Punta Tosca. Wind is northerly 5-10kts, swell is big rolling in from the west around 10ft, long period but causing lots of surge at the dive site. Air temp 28C, water temp 27C.

We did 2 dives at Tosca this morning. Overall, both pretty quiet with low viz and surgy conditions, although the current was fairly mild.

On one dive the couple diving with private DM Eline had a big playful manta, and a few groups saw a couple of hammerheads in the distance, other than that not much happening.

So, after dive 2 we just picked up the anchor and now we’re on our way back to Cabo Pearce to try the afternoon over there and see if we can find some more animals. Tonight, we’ll head to Roca Partida and last day planning at the Boiler.
