Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-01-02

Good afternoon,

NEX at anchor in Roca Partida.
Weather: Wind: 8-12 kts from NNW, Swell: 6-7 ft from NNW (long) The rolling is not so bad. Water conditions: Temp: 26 °C, Vis. 60 ft, Current: weak from N to S.

We have two good dives this morning, the life is a little deeper, 4 dolphins, 1 black manta, yellowfin tunas, many white tips, some silver tips, and Galapagos, guests were happy.

Yesterday at the Canyon the 3rd dive was very good, the visibility got better, and they saw 4 mantas swimming around the whole dive. By the 4th dive, the visibility closes again.
