Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-01-04

Good afternoon,

NEX at anchor in Punta Tosca, WX: Wind calm at anchor, waves, calm at anchor, waves outside the finger 3-4´, water conditions: Visibility: 25m. Temp. 26°C, Current: Almost no current.

The first two dives today were good, there was around 4 mantas (possible 6), 2 of them were black mantas, and some mantas stayed with the divers during the whole dive making the guests happy. Also, they saw 3 hammerheads, baby Galapagos, black tips, a school of yellowfin tunas, and a school of jacks.

Last dive yesterday at the Boiler was nice, it was a good day at the moment the best day of the trip. After third dive we will move to navy base and push to do a fourth dive, tomorrow we will do Cape Pierce.
