Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-01-05

Good afternoon, NEX at anchor in Cape Pierce, Weather: Waves: – 4-6 ft, wind 12-15 kts, Cloudy and light rain, Water conditions: Visibility: good, upon 25 m, temp: 26 °Celsius, weak current.

Today we have had very nice diving, the guests are very happy: 22 Dolphins, 3-5 Mantas, Hammerheads and yellowfin tunas…

Just on the last dive one guest (Montana) told me they saw a school of yellowfin tunas coming, behind them the dolphins chasing them. When the dolphins saw the divers they stop and play around them. Brandon said one of the dolphins was just in front of his face, behind the dolphins the mantas came… it was a nice dive.

All good at the moment, the weather looks like we will have a rocky way up to Cabo.
