Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-01-15

Belle Amie is currently at Punta Tosca. Sky mostly clear, wind around 5-10kts from the north, 3-5′ swell from the nw outside, air temp 27C.

We had a great afternoon at Canyon yesterday with a really sharky cleaning station in the afternoon. Big Galapagos coming in really close, a Tiger shark, some hammerheads and silver-tips around, some exciting diving!

After the last dive we started cruising for Socorro and had Taco night on the top deck, a big as always. Anchored last night at Cabo Henslow and started diving this morning at Roca O’Neal.

Everyone enjoyed the topography and the dive overall but only one group had a nice interaction with a few dolphins, otherwise it was quiet.

Dive 2 we came down to Punta Tosca and had a fantastic dive! Manta lovin’ was the theme on dive 2. 3-4 mantas around the outer fingers stayed with the divers for the entire dive, playful and friendly. Guests were super excited. We’ll do one more here at Tosca then heading for Cabo Pearce via Navy Base.
