Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Explorer โ€“ 2024-01-21

Good afternoon,

Nautilus Explorer at anchor in Cabo Pierce,
Weather: So good, Wind 4-8 kts NNE, Wave: 1′ NNE, Clear sky, sunny day.
Under water conditions: Current: mild from South to North, Good visibility +20m, 25 Celsius of temp.

Very good dives at Cabo Pierce this morning, Hammerheads, Dolphins, 1 chevron manta and 1 black manta, silver tips, 1 big tiger shark. All the guests are happy. Also when transferring the guest to the boat after 1st dive there were humpback whales 60 m from boat stern, a mom and her baby, looks like the baby was training on the shallows.

Yesterday we did the navy inspection; the navy personnel came onboard. We offered to all guests a 4th dive yesterday close to navy base in Bahia Braulia. 15 guests took it, all girls, they were celebrating a special occasion, was a short dive, not too many animals, only lots of silkies, but they got fun.

We compensate them the first day when only could do 3 dives because of more boats on san Benedicto.

Also, we offered the guests after the dinner a “dark hour”. After dinner we turn off all lights (with exception of anchor light from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm) to let them enjoy the night on the sun deck. Drinks were offered also, not too many stars cause of the moon, but we saw a few shooting stars, this would be great for the new moon.
