San Ignacio: Remote Paradise

Hello Friends!

I am a dive guide and crew with Nautilus Liveaboards. This week I’m visiting for first time our camp at San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja for our Whale Watching Season Opening!
San Ignacio is famous for the close and friendly interaction we can experience with gray whales!

My first impression after arriving to the camp was: Wow!
This remote place in the desert is beautiful. It’s peaceful and emanates such a powerful atmosphere.

The camp crew did an excellent job setting up the most comfortable and luxury tents you can imagine. King size beds, small living room, full bathrooms with hot showers! This is more than a camp!
The kitchen, the dining area and the bar are well planned, spacious and comfortable.
Guests can relax after whale watching having a cocktail, watching the sunset or playing pool in the bar area.

The whale watching guys did an evening presentation about the whales and after we had dinner.

Tomorrow will be my first whale watching tour in the morning!
Can’t wait for it!
