Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-01-30

NUS Anchor at 18°46.4N-111°02.4W, in 100ft depth, Punta Tosca, Socorro Island, the sky this morning was cloudy, it was dark and now the sky opened a little to give us a little light, AIR TEMPERATURE 77°F, wind blowing strong from the north at 18 knots sustained and gusts of over 25 knots.

Two dives were made this morning with Vis of 60ft, Water Temp 77°F, and light current to the west on first dive and for The second dive changed towards the east.

The divers saw in these two dives 3 chevron manta rays and one black one, 8/10 hammerhead sharks, and those that always cooperate with the divers 10 very friendly dolphins. All the guests and crew members were happy.
