Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-02-17

Wx: Winds NNE 10-12kts, Swell: Long 3ft.  Vessel moving easily, rolling slightly at times.  At Sea Nothing out of the ordinary when we left Cabo early this AM, no Friday bad luck for us. 

During the morning, several guests observed 3 humpback whales, they were breaching and rotating before heading back down.  The guests showed delight and were very excited. 

1030 Captain briefing was conducted using the company standard and Pascal helped with the German translation for the German speaking Guests. This lead directly into the Safety briefing and GA was sounded. 

This afternoon we have scheduled the Dive Safety Briefing and have forecasted the Crew Drill; this will also incorporate the Security drill also due.
