Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-02-27

Good afternoon, all, Vessel is currently en route to San Benedicto, we expect to arrive late this pm. 

Yesterday we conducted our turnaround tasks.  Despite the later arrival due to another vessel, we were able to regain our expected schedule.  It was a very productive day.

All the Guests special requests were loaded without a hitch and guest embarkation was completed satisfactory.  Yesterday evening, was the usual Safety briefings and introduction and we slipped our lines at 2200.

Aspiration for the rest of the afternoon is for the guests to attend the dive safety briefing, and a Marine Life presentation, and for the crew, of course we have the safety drill. 

WX: Increasingly cloudy sky, from the partial clouds at Sunrise.  Winds remain from the NW, Light to Moderate Breeze, since it is on the quarter,

Relative wind strength is quite low.

Visibility is Good, fairly quiet on the surface marine life aspect. Air Temp 22C and Sea Temp 24C.
