Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-03-04

19.17.723N – 110.48.702W, anchored in 55ft of water.

We just got here after one dive at the Boiler, this morning we did our check dive in the Leather Bass Alley then we left for The Boiler.

Both dives were good, visibility averages 50Ft, water temperature is 76F same as water, here the ocean is nice and flat, but Boiler had a different story we struggled to bring guests in and out of the skiffs.

The Boiler was good with couple of mantas that stayed with the divers for almost the entire dive, some saw a hammerhead and Galapagos, current in both sites was light and running to the east. Cloudy skies.

The Boiler had strong 10 plus knots winds and a huge 10-footer NW swell it had a long period but the wind waves made our life hard. In check dive one of the groups were able to see a manta and dolphins, they came up very happy.
