Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-03-05

18.59.45 N 112.04.85 W, vessel at anchor 0.14 nm East from the Roca Partida. 12kn wind from NW, air temperature 74 degrees, sky was cloudy during the morning but it is getting clear.

So far, we did two dives here, both dives the visibility was around 80 feet, water temperature 76 degrees, moderate current from the west.

The dives were good, the north corner was full of whitetips sharks, some silver tips, the rock is full of horse eyed jacks and cotton mouth jacks, some of the guests have seen yellow fin tuna and during the first dive some of the guest saw a manta. In the rock you could see the swell from the northwest going up and down 10 feet, long period.

On our third dive yesterday two group got see a school of at least 30 juvenile hammerhead sharks
