Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-03-07

NGL searching the Mechudo corridor today. Wind is currently from the north 10 kts with 1′ seas, mostly cloudy skies. Air temp 24C.

Departed Agua Verde this morning before 0700 and have been searching all day. No whales so far but we did enjoy 2 pods of common dolphins, one from the Gallant Lady and one from the rhib before lunch.

Dave just reached us now here in the San Jose channel so we’ll see if he can spot something for us before we carry on to San Francisco for kayaking, shore hike etc.

Yesterday we had a great day all day with a blue whale and kayaking at Agua Verde plus beach hike and taco night. Guests disembarking tomorrow morning for San Ignacio and then we’ll be tying up at Cant Amar for the week.
