Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-03-18

NGL anchored at SW end of Isla Carmen today, wind has been northerly light with less than a foot here at the anchorage all morning. Currently seeing some southerly breeze. Sky is clear, air temp 25C.

Had a nice first day yesterday although limited to the small area at honeymoon cove, but was a good warm up and they got to practice some skills. We spent the night anchored there last night and this morning moved over to Carmen.

This SW corner is quite beautiful today with lots of shelter, clear water and bottlenose dolphins playing around the area all morning. The guests got out for a beautiful paddle this morning including beach hike and got to paddle alongside the dolphins for a little while as well. All came back for lunch very happy with the morning.

We used the rhib to explore other options for the afternoon but this little corner is the nicest we can find so we’ll do some more paddling here this afternoon. Plan to head to Agua Verde at the end of the day to spend the night anchored there tonight.
