Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-03-11

Good afternoon, NUS anchored Latitude 19 19.5 North and Longitude 110 48.7 West, in the Boiler area, San Benedicto Island, weather conditions are very good wind NNW 2-4 kts, sunny day, temp 25 Celsius, sea state 1 ft, 107 ft depth, 2 shots paid out. We arrived at the Island today at 0140, when we arrived Nautilus Explorer was there.

Today in our first dive in the morning (check dive) the Fondeadero area was good the visibility 12 mtrs. Temp into the water 21 degrees Celsius. Divers saw one dolphin, and just one Galapagos shark the guests were so fine with the checkout dive.

The second dive was very good in the Boiler, the visibility was good 12 mtrs. Temp. 22 Celsius and they saw many mantas good activity, white tips, five dolphins, and many yellowfins tuna.

Something important is our guests are happy, we have also seen whales near us.
