Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-04-06

NUS Anchored at 19°19.5N-110°48.7W, in 100 ft of depth, the Boiler, San Benedicto Island, the sky is partly cloudy, air temperature 71°F. Weather, north wind at 15 knots and gusts of 20 knots, 3ft wind swell and 6ft long period waves from the NW.

This morning the checkout dive was done at the Fondeadero and was successful, some guests saw Dolphins and a Tiger Shark.

For the second dive we moved to the Boiler and It was a very good dive that everyone left happy. They saw 4 different manta rays, 3 at a time, a dozen Dolphins that were playing with the divers and a tiger shark.

Conditions Visibility 80ft, water temperature 75°F and moderate current to the NE All guests dived and were happy with the first dives. All guests and crew had no problems today. We are alone in the Boiler. Plan for tomorrow, Socorro Island, Cabo Pearce.
