Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-04-09

Good afternoon, NEX at anchor in Punta Tosca WX: Wind 14-16 kts from NNW, waves (Outside) 6´, partially cloudy, Underwater conditions: Temp. 23° C, Vis. 8-10 m, Current, Medium to the West.

Dives: A little bit quiet, they saw 1 Hammerhead, 1juvenile silkie, 1 baby hammerhead, and 2 Chevron Mantas.

On the chevron, Mantas got 2 fishing hooks close to the tail, in these cases, is it possible, to touch the animals to help them? In the yesterday afternoon´s dives, they saw 1 hammerhead, Galapagos, and Silvertips.
