Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-04-17

Good afternoon all, NGL searching for critters in Mechudo Corridor, nice wx at the moment, light wind from North and 2 ft seas same direction, sky is partially cloudy. Yesterday after a rocky journey we made it to Los Islotes to send the guests for a dive.

The dive was a complete success with guests saying they could do it every day and drove back to the NGL with one of the famous pink sunsets of the Sea of Cortez.

This morning, we found a large pod of common dolphins at breakfast, we stayed with the pod for the guests to enjoy their breakfast. All guests boarded the RHIB and we followed the common dolphins, they were flying through the air and water and the pod had many babies. The guests all jumped in the water with the dolphins!

If one pod was not enough as the rhib was returning to the NGL they found a small pod of bottlenose dolphins where the guests all jumped again.
