Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-04-17

NUS Anchored at 18°46.6N-110°54.6W, 90ft depth, Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island, the sky is completely cloudy, the wind blowing from the North 12 knots and long period waves from the South 5ft.

This morning two dives were made with visibility of 80ft on the south side and 100ft on the north side, water temperature 75°F, and light current to the south.

During the dives, the divers saw a school of hammerhead sharks, and at least 5 different manta rays, which interacted very well with the guests and some dolphins.

We have one more dive after lunch and we will move to the Naval base for routine inspection and after dinner, we will sail to Roca Partida.

We are sharing the dive site with Solmar V. Dive Site 1: Cabo Pearce  2 vessels: NUS, SOLMAR V
