Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-04-23

Good afternoon, NGL just anchored in Las Animas, we have SE wind 5-10 kts and 1-2 ft in this little bay.

We left from Ensenada Grande early in the morning and started our search, we search in the SE side of San Francisco, then all the way up by Mechudo corridor.

We saw a large pod of common dolphins and one fin whale in the north tip of San Jose, not able to put guests with the dolphins since they were swimming very fast away from them.

Once we arrived south of San Diego, we started to make way to Las Animas area where Mango Wind saw the Orcas last trip.

At the moment guests are snorkeling with the sea lions and should be back soon for lunch. After lunch we will heave up anchor and start our search.
