Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-04-28

18.46.639N – 111.02.968W anchored in 123ft of water we are in Punta Tosca, so far so good, guests wanted to do this site again they had some really good diving yesterday here.

I just went for a dive and mantas come and go, one stayed with the group for 30 minutes, and when this one was gone a second one came in and then the two together, and at the end of the dive while doing a safety stop a third manta came by.

Punta Tosca is the manta place. There was this huge turtle, along with the usual cast of fish, like clarion angel fish, white tip reef shark, octopus, creole fish, wahoo, leather bass, and a lot more.

There is no current just a bit of surge, visibility is 80Ft, water temperature is 75F air is 74, today wind is doing 10ks NW gusting to 16kts, ocean with a 2Ft swell with a big period, blue skies with some whites in it.
