In particular we had two consecutive dives were we saw the same 4 mantas hanging around the cleaning station. There were 2 chevron females and 2 black mantas. They swam on top of the divers to start. Then they came closer at our same depth and they were clearly seeing us. Eye to eye. Then the action started, they were doing acrobatic movements, passes very close to the divers and posing non stop during the dive to be photographed.
The 3rd dive was very similar, but this time they followed us all the way to our safety stop and almost to the surface. It seemed they didn’t want to let us go.Juan David, dive guide
