Stephanie CiosekAs we hovered mid-water, we were approached by a large manta, as she (we later found out) swam past us, another slightly smaller manta came towards us. The first then swam back towards our group with the smaller following close behind. We watched as the circles became smaller, and the mantas got closer and closer to us. Around and around, in a graceful swoop the mantas danced and dipped. We began dancing with them, and on the next pass, they swam right towards us, swoooping up at the very last second to allow our bubbles to tickle their bellies. The crew promised us encounters with curious giant mantas, and this far exceeded expectation and imagination. Thank you Nautilus crew, for an amazing experience!
