Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-05-02

NUS Anchored on the Cañon area San Benedicto Island Lat. 19 17.7 north Longitude 110 48.5 west in 58 ft depth, weather condition cloudy day, air Temperature 23°C, sea state 2-4 ft, in the anchorage area wind blowing from W 10-12 kts.

This morning around 2 am the NEX arrived but only did its check dive and then moved to the Boiler.

The first dive was good, the divers saw some hammer sharks, Galapagos, white tips, and dolphins but just a few minutes and they saw one big octopus. Underwater conditions are good with visibility 16 mtrs and water temperature 24°c.

In the second dive, one group saw a hammer shark, Galapagos, and silver tips, the visibility 15 mtrs. we have a little strong current coming out from west.

Yesterday the last two dives in the Boiler were very good, and mantas all the time with the divers.

All guests are happy.
