Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-05-03

19.17.803N -110.48.583W, anchored in 50Ft of water, wind today is been okay gusting sometimes to 16 kts NW, flat seas on this side of the island.

We dove Leather Bass Alley in check dive then the canyon for second dive, both good dives.

The first one had some silt in the water so visibility was not all that good, but they had dolphins, mantas, and tons of lobster.

The second dive was a lot better visibility was 70Ft cleaning station had some sharks, some saw a squadron of at least 12 hammerhead sharks, a couple of silvertip sharks, and Galapagos. White tips are always around, they had a manta for over 30 minutes.

Guests are happy, is only the first day and we had lots of action, the idea is to move and do two dives at the Boiler this afternoon.

Water temperature is 76F same as air, cloudy skies, and little current to the west. Guests and crew doing fine.
