Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2024-05-05

Good afternoon, NEX at anchor in Punta Tosca, WX: Wind 12 kts from NW, 1 ft inside the bay, outside the bay we have around 3 ft waves, cloudy day. Underwater conditions: Temp. 24° C, Visibility: +20 m, Current: weak, changing, predominant to the west.

No pelagic animals on the first two dives today, they found octopus, turtles, different fish species, jacks, lobsters and whitetips. We have some people doing snorkel on the bay between dives and one is doing snorkel right now on the third dive.

Finishing this dive we are moving to the navy base for check and then we are moving to Cabo Pearce.
