Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-05-09

Good afternoon, NUS at anchor Latitude 19 17.7 North and Longitude 110 48.6 West, in the Cañon area, San Benedicto Island, weather conditions are bad wind W 14-16 kts, and gusts 20 kts. sunny day, temp 23 Celsius, sea state 2-4 ft.

Today in our first dive ( check dive ) was be done in the Fondeadero all guests fine, they only saw three hammerhead sharks and one manta just passing, they also saw lobsters and silkies.

Regular-good visibility 10 – 12 mtrs and little current from east to west Temp in the water 23 degrees Celsius. the guests were so fine. But we have several divers who are beginners, there is one person who has 9 dives, and we are paying a lot of attention to them, but everything they see underwater excites them.

The second dive was be done in the Cañon the visibility was regular 10 mtrs. Temp. 24 Celsius and they saw hummer-sharks, silkies, reef fish, good activity,
