Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-05-12

NUS at anchor in Latitude 18 46.5 North Longitude 110° 54.5 West. Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island, weather condition regular-bad, sunny day, wind NE 10-12 kts, air Temperature 26°C, sea state outside in the morning 3-5 ft. At Cabo Pearce anchorage area sea state calm.

First dive was very good, the divers saw some dolphins, four mantas, big school bonitos and tunas yellow fin some big tunas, underwater conditions visibility 18-20 mtrs, Water temp.24°C.

Second dive was much better, visibility 20 mtrs and temp. 24, they saw mantas all time, some divers saw a big school of hammerheads shark, again many yellow fin tunas, silvertips, many of reef fishes, yesterday afternoon.
