Our first day of diving did not disappoint. We started with a mandatory weight and buoyancy check. While our dive master, Juan David, said he was in charge of our group of eight divers, it seems the dolphins and sharks were really managing the process! We made 4 dives yesterday at a large dive site known as Fondeadero/Canyon. Every dive was in a different area. We met Mantas, dolphins, White Tip sharks, Silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, and my favorite of the day, Silver Tip sharks. We also found a very large octopus out and about. At the end of our 4th dive while on our safety stop a school of Bonitas that stretched as far as we could see helped us pass the time. The other 3 groups of eight divers had similar experience. Ours was amazing.
