Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-05-15

19.19.403N – 110.48.407W anchor in 60FT of water inside the little cove east of Boiler. Weather conditions are okay, wind is doing 12kts NW and a long period swell 6ft NW, wind waves and swell are giving us some work on the back deck and we need to be focused to keep things under control as some guests are not fast enough and need extra time to get in the skiff.

Diving is incredible, just now coming out of the second dive they are tripping talking about the 5 mantas together, the hammerheads, the huge tiger shark, the bonitos, yellowfin tunas, Galapagos.

The first dive had the false killer whales cruising by, visibility is 120Ft, water temperature varies some got in thermos down to 71F, and close to the surface they get reading up to 78F, little current to the north, blues skies, air temperature is 76F.
