Good afternoon, everyone, NGL 19 nm East from las Animas, south wind 10 kts, 1-2 ft chop, sunny, air temperature 27 Celsius.
We left this morning from San Francisco, heading north and when heading to las Animas we did find a pod of sperm whales, the plane was in the area and confirmed. Our guests were with them for about 3 hours.
They returned to the boat for lunch and they are back with the sperm whales, there are more than 20 for sure.
Plan is to continue here and stay in San Francisco for the night and head south tomorrow morning to look for the orcas.
