Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-05-19

NUS Anchored at 18°46.5N-110°54.6W, in 90 ft depth, Cabo Pearce Socorro Island. The sky is clear, air temperature 74°F, we have a pleasant breeze of 8 knots from the north and long period waves of 4ft from the south.

Two dives were done this morning with good manta activity with at least 5 different individuals and some dolphins. Visibility 60ft, and at the end of the second dive getting worse, water temperature 75°F and light current towards the northeast. All guests and crew without problems today.

The afternoon dives planned to be done in the northern part of the Island.

We plan to stay one more day in Socorro and do the Navy Inspection tomorrow and give our guests more experience and they will be ready for the Major Leagues in the next few days.
