Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-05-22

NUS Anchored at 19°19.5N-110°48.7W, in 105ft depth, the Boiler, San Benedicto Island. The sky is clear, air temperature 78°F, a pleasant northerly breeze of 5 knots and nw swell of 6ft long period.

Two dives were done this morning with Visibility of 60ft on first dive and for the second dive the water turned milky, water temperature 70°F and a light current to the north. The divers saw 3 different manta rays, one black and two chevron.

Planning the afternoon dives in Cape Fear and Cuevitas and for tomorrow the plan will be the Canyon. Sharing the dive site with Rocio del Mar for two dives and they went to the Canyon for afternoon dives.

Yesterday in Roca Partida only in the first dive were the Dolphins and the rest of the traditional Roca Partida dives, Whitetip sharks and reef fish.
