Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2024-05-29

NUS at anchor in Latitude 18 46.5 North Longitude 110° 54.5 West. Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island, good weather condition sunny day, wind NE 6-8 kts, air Temperature 24°C, sea state outside in the morning 1-3 ft. At Cabo Pearce anchorage area sea state calm.

We had a good day of diving, conditions into the water were good visibility 16 mtrs, temp. 23 Celsius.

In the first dive our guest saw dolphins. First only 4 dolphins and then more dolphins arrived with our guests. They saw many tunas of all sizes big and small, a big school of bonitos and 3 mantas.

On the second dive much better dolphins again, 5 mantas, and some hammerhead sharks passing by, one guest very happy to see some octopus on the rocks.

Yesterday we did a third dive in the aquarium but it was very quiet, not much activity but our guest liked to see a different dive site, guest are very happy.
