Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-06-15

Belle Amie anchored on the east side of Roca Partida near the mighty Explorer today. Beautiful weather, a light breeze from the NW, skies have cleared up now and the sun is shining, swell is a good 5 to 6 ft around 10 second period. Air temp now around 27C. Water temp 24C. Viz a beautiful blue 25m plus, current mild-moderate at the corners.

Just wrapping up dive 2. Both dives solid today, school of BIG yellow-fin tunas, big schools of jacks and bonitos, loads of white tips cruising around mixed up with silver-tips, a few Galapagos and silkies as well. From the surface we saw the resident dolphins hunting off in the distance but so far they haven’t come to visit us at the dive site.

We’ll do 2 more here this afternoon then head for Punta Tosca to dive there tomorrow and do our navy check-in. Taco night last night up on the sun deck was a success, request from guests to have a second taco night. Request from me to have taco night every night.
