Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Explorer โ€“ 2024-06-23

Hello to everybody, NEX is anchored at Fondeadero Sur in San Benedicto Island (Lat. N 19ยฐ 17.75′ Long. W 110ยฐ 48.65′) With excellent weather conditions, Sky partially cloudy, Light breeze 3 kt. from WN, Low current going W. Air temperature 27ยฐC. Water temperature 22ยฐC. Visibility 30 m.

We have done 2 dives in the morning.

First dive was at El Fondeadero, Checkout dive was good. Divers saw a big manta. Some silver tips sharks, white tip reef sharks, lobsters and tons of jacks and chubs. Visibility was reduced by marking water, but it was good enough to see lots of things.

Second dive was in El Caรฑon, and it was outstanding, the guests could see a great variety of sea life. They saw a tiger shark passing by very close to the cleaning station, there were a couple of mantas, white tip sharks, silver tips sharks, a small school of hammerheads, a couple of silky sharks, thousands of fish everywhere. This dive was marvelous.

All guests are really happy, they are having lunch right now.
